		<description>Thank you so much for posting this information (and the photos). I&#039;m fascinated by this breeding project and will be very interested to see how it develops. I had wondered whether it was possible to cross Crimson-Flowered with a purple-seeded bean and get red flowers with purple beans, but I have never actually tried to make the cross. So I will be very curious to see how you get on with it.

The only purple fava I have tried was an Italian variety called Grando Violetto, but it performed very poorly in my garden. The beautiful seeds were the only good thing about it. Yours look much more vigorous.</description>
